I see he attends Autauga Academy in Prattville, AL. Was he at another high school before going to AA? The reason I ask is because the level of competition in their high school division is very, very bad and would be hard to judge a very good player from a standout.

My guess would be because of his size and ability along with his performance at camps against better competition are what he is being judged on.

Did not go to another high school. Played junior high football in the public school system and then went to the academy. I coached him and can tell you not to worry about the competition, he is a good football player and a good kid. Caleb Gulledge also played for me and I can assure you the university will be happy to have these kids.

He transferred to Autuaga his Sophmore year. Not sure of school, but i want to say Prattville...

OJ has torn up the camp circuit against elite competition. He reminds me of Aaron Hernandez. We could flex him out and use his receiving skills to an effective degree. We really haven't had a TE with his skillset since Coach Saban has been here. He would be a big weapon for us IMO.
Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.

Where did he play Junior High ball Pratt..I talked to him at the AiSA State championship game in Huntintdon and was a real solid citizen. Was impressed that i recognized him and said he was Bama Bound. My Grandson played against him in the State Baseball playoffs last year.

Talent and ability stand out no matter what type of competition. OJ has stood out at the camps he has attended....against equal competition.
