The writting on the wall for a tragedy like this has unfortunately been there now for a while. I hope there are widespread actions mandated and funded by the government to make schools more secure, inside and out. It's sad a school has to be treated like a maximum security prison.

Doing the same thing, brother. Actually had to remove myself from my classroom for a minute to compose. Have an 11-yr, 3-yr and 5-mo old. Feel like someone's kicked me in the gut ... what the victims are feeling ... I don't know, y'all.

Schools have to be safe. They have to be. I can't kiss my kids bye in the morning and watch them get taken out by medics in the afternoon.

I've got firsthand experience in what the death of a child does to a person and their family. This POS has no clue the magnitude of the nightmare he's forced on hundreds of people.

I sure don't now. This is sick. How can someone be so mentally ill and nothing be done to help them.

And I don't want their parents coming out saying that, oh he was a good kid blah blah. He or they can't have been this ill overnight.

How someone can walk into a kindergarten class and kill everyone is beyond incomprehensible. I cannot imagine the heartbreak of the families involved. A class of kindergarten students!! I pray God gives the families the strength to endure this unthinkable tragedy. Prayers to all!
