    Don't think Danica Patrick is that hot. She's pretty but not near Anna Kournikova. And I hate NASCAR any way because its not a compilation of the best racecar drivers in the country. It's now a compilation of rich kids that would have never made it without being rich.

    Wow... You really have no idea and are making a lot of negative comments with no real info on Nascar or its drivers. And its ok you dont like it or watch it. But kinda crazy for you to make comments for no real reason or thanyou just dont like the sport.

    She does suck first off... And NASCAR is almost impossible to get into unless you are priveledged. There are many other local drivers out there that are better than the NASCAR drivers that you watch on Sundays. They never get the opportunity because they don't have money.

    I don't agree with you on that. I have watched it for years and have seen a lot of people come in with money and still can't drive with the big boys at all. So yea it does take something to drive one of these cars and not just your momma and daddy having money.

  • But there are plenty of guys out there as good or better that will never get the opportunity because of this. We're not getting the best of the best like you see in real sports. Oh yea, NASCAR is not a sport by the way

    There are a lot that worked their way up from Saturday night short tracks. But nowadays it is like a lot of other things and you have to somehow get lucky. Just like the kid that took over Matt Kenseths car, he is from Olive Brach Mississippi and worked his way through some other series and got a shot with Roush.

    Back to Patrick, don't buy into the ESPN hype machine. She is nothing more than a promotional tool. I'm sure she will "win" a few races though. I'm surprised they didn't try to help her out today. Would have made good business sense.

    I'm not arguing she is great. Just that she doesn't suck. She had a great car no doubt, but she did what it took to stay up front. She didn't make any bad errors really. Like Trevor said, just give credit where it is do.

    Well if this how you measure... What about Dale JR he is talked about allthe time considered the most popular driver in nascar bout yet no championships and 1 win in the last 100 and something races. She made history twice this weekend. First women on pole for Daytona 500 &first to lead a lap.

  • And if she's any kind of competitor, she's not happy about setting two records because she's a women. She should be upset because she wasn't even close to winning the race. But, I could see her being proud of finally not crashing
