TweetLSU sophomores Spencer Ware and Tyrann Mathieu will be suspended for Saturday's game against Auburn after reportedly failing a drug test, a source told The Daily Reveille on Wednesday.
The suspensions could turn into multiple-game suspensions as well.
Michael Bonnette, LSU's Associate Athletics Director and Sports Information Director, did not comment on the matter, but neither confirmed nor denied the reports, saying he will speak with LSU coach Les Miles this afternoon.
Ware is the Tigers' starting running back and has gained 512 yards as part of a dynamic LSU rushing attack.
Mathieu has garnered widespread Heisman hype after forcing six turnovers and scoring two touchdowns on defense and special teams this season.

If this is public info, its likely not the first failed test. The first one is usually "violation of team rules".

This wasn't the 1st or even 2nd drug test these guys have failed and they could very well be done for the season.

Look Les has his issues but not punishing his players severely isnt one. Why even do a random drug test on your team and make it public if you arent going to punish them? One game for smoking weed is beyond weak. If it was something worse they are done for the regular season. Les doesnt go for this kind of crap. He also has to worry about the programs image for recruiting. Parents and most kids.dont like out of control programs.
I say their out for Bama unless Les is virtually threatened with his losing his job.

Until i see this from a major news outlet I call bs. Just a little too perfect for one of their top offensive AND defensive players to get suspended at the same time? Exactly what they would put out there to troll people.
Although it would fall right in line with the Boogs' unholy unnatural luck.
Edit: ok I see where Cecil Hurt and others are tweeting the link, so there is apparently something to it. Completely bizarre if true, and the corndogs will always believe we beat their ass only because of this. Colt McCoy all over again. Oh well whatever helps them sleep.
