I actually think the main story from ND is close to true. I think he got scammed by a couple of pranksters and then over played it some. Everything else is just BS guessing.

It's insane. If Teo isn't lying than two things had to have happened....

1. A talented group of individuals including at least one women had to have given a significant portion of their lives to a hoax. Talking on the phone every night for hours, different characters for brothers, parents, grandparents, etc. That's insane.

2. He has to be the stupidest SOB in the history of the world.

nah, you don't have a long term relationship with someone and never talk to them on the phone, send written "snail mail" correspondence, etc. Hell I swam in college with kids from all over the world and every single one of them went back home almost once a year....your telling me that Teo never went back to Hawaii and stopped in for a visit to see ole girl? Especially since she was dying?

Look at what Fat X Nub said above...he didn't send flowers, reach out to her family, etc after her cyber-death?

This guy is either incredibly dumb and shouldn't be allowed to grace the halls of a JuCo, let alone a fairly prestigious private school, or he was complicit in some scheme to campaign for the Heisman, cover up some kind of an affair or some other motive.

I am predicting the future here. When it all comes out (pun intended, closet reference), the gay journalists of the world will have an even bigger voice than they've had than last year. I watch OTL on ESPN and they've been on there multiple times this talking about gay athletes and how hard their lives seem to be with coming out. It will get really really aggressive here sooner rather than later. I fully expect at some point very soon that he will reveal his sexuality and how it was hidden initially to not upset his father. He will once again be embraced nationally for his strength by the gay community and by the most PC of media outlets. He will be the spokesperson for gay athletes all around the world and this whole lie thing he's been living will be turned around so quickly I bet the media runs rampant with it and follows MT into gayhood as the most courageous athlete to ever live. Just watch, its gonna happen.
How far off am I into nailing this? No further than believing one word that the Te'os have been saying for months.. This is way more probable than anything we've been brainwashed with in relation to Manti and his non existing girlfriend.
