I'm sure most of you heard his mother make the comment about not feeling safe with him at Alabama.......I got a little clarity on that a few minutes ago. Seems some UGA coaches took it upon themselves to fill the Jenkins family in on the rumors of certain Bama players getting into altercations off the field and it swayed their opinion of the stability within the Alabama program. If you've paid attention the last month or two you can probably guess which rumor I'm referring to.
Expect more of the same tactics to be used with R.Foster. UGA boosters/staff have NOT taken kindly to watching us come in their state and outwork them for their own players.

This one seems like two adults who may or may not fully understand ALL that goes into a kids choice to a school - not meaning the immediate things they decide on - but the long term things. There is no doubt whats taking place at Alabama right now and for some - its just not worth the extra effort it takes to succeed at BAMA these days. And that's fine. Again, were not for everyone - and everyone isn't for us.
This is my favorite saying: We don't want all the elite players - we just want the RIGHT elite players. ROLL TIDE!

What probably happened is that the UGA coaches showed him that we are stockpiled at LB and that his best chance to play early and leave early for the NFL is at Georgia.
We win some, we lose some. However, we are going to win a lot more times than we lose.

I know for a fact that Jawa is right with this information. I'm good friends with several people in high places at HCHS. And this is exactly what I was told. As a matter of fact, the behind the scenes stuff played more of a role than the depth chart did in the parents eyes. UGA and UF convinced the family that Bama is a win at all cost school, saying that we recruit bad kids and sweep all of our troubles under the rug so that it's not made public. It's a complete shame, because we all know that Saban runs possibly one of the cleanest most disciplined programs out there and wins with GOOD, HIGH CHARACTER kids. They will regret their decision this time next year.
For now, they are sold on Richt being a good Christian man...Jawa3hc

Exactly. The way it was explained to me, if depth chart was the ONLY issue then he would still have signed with Bama. The stuff UGA threw out there didn't affect him much, he still had Bama at the top, but the parents bought it big time.
