Yeah I'm here in the city, but should be fine (I'm up high, won't get flooded).
Strongest gusts I've heard about were 90 mph+ out in Brooklyn. Pressure at 940, which is the lowest in history up here. Truly a record-breaking storm. And yet there are idiots out in jetskis on the harbor.
My buddy took this pic of an apartment building on 8th Ave (the avenues are basically wind tunnels). Whole front wall of the building ripped completely off. And as many of you know, there is a crane dangling precariously above W. 57th St. Not good.

Sounds like heaven. Potentially more dangerous, but heaven nonetheless. I digress, keep posting pictures if it's safe to do so. I've been interested in Sandy all day.
