I live in Chardon, OH. I know...an odd place for a Bama fan. The house is directly beside the high school and this situation has shaken the entire community. It is a very safe place with little to no crime. I got the call this morning as soon as I got to work and rushed immediately home to my newborn and lady to protect them in any way I could since the gunman was on the loose. I commend the local authorities (there are very few as we have little crime) for their swift action and the coaches at the high school for their heroic deeds. If you weren't aware...the coach charged the gunman even though the gun was aimed directly at him to protect his students. Thoughts and prayers go out to every student (especially the injured), parent, and resident of the small town. Thanks.

thank you all so much for the thoughts. i love this town (other than the insane amounts of snowfall - most in ohio). it's very small, safe, and beautiful out in the hills. you'd never know you're so close to cleveland. it honestly reminds me of small town alabama, and trust me there are plenty of rednecks in the hills out here. again...your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated. as of now I think two have died with only one announced. awful stuff.
