Foo Fighters are not my favorite band, but they put on an incredible, high energy show. They also are at the top of their game and appeal to the masses more than any other hard rock band out now. Dave Grohl knows how to work the crowd for sure.

Barry Manilow. If you're not a FANilow, you're a f'n commie.
They wanted Alabama too ...
I say Maiden. But they would never do it. Van Halen is back together as well... if the reunion can last, whatta show that would be!
Foo Fighters aren't one of my favorites or anything, but I've always figured they would play the Super Bowl at some point. They put on a great show and have far enough hits to do the Super Bowl medley. Not to mention, they could do like they did at Wimbley and get some pretty special guests involved. I think the problem right now is the need to do too much show. Too much focus on theatrics and not enough on the music.
ZZ Top is one of my favorite bands of ALL TIME. I would love to see it, but doubt it happens. I don't think they are high energy enough for what the Super Bowl wants.
Might as well book the Village People, since the NFL is trying to appeal to all walks of life these days. I think, no I know the 1/2 time show has been a bust since Pro Football has gone to a kinder and genteler game.
He is going to have to do something after his PTSD forces him to re-Meyer, uh, retire.
Post Traumatic Saban Disorder
phillipians 4:13 CAN-DO all things through Christ which strengthens me.
The Dallas Cowboys would put on a great SB halftime show.

Crimsonbleeder "If Trent doesn't go pro this year I will eat my car tires"
Hank Williams, Jr. It's a great show, and it would say "Screw You!" to ESPN for firing him! (vbg)
Kings of Leon
I'm not sure on his health but I'd also love to see Al Green break out in Love & Happiness.
