Let me preface this by saying I'm a hypocrite and most likely even worse. I'm not a very spiritual person at all. I even complain to myself when I see a prayer thread on here. This isn't the forum for that type of stuff I'd always tell myself. I apologize to anyone that's asked for the kindness of a prayer only to have me bypass the thread without a second thought. Now I'm here ashamed, humbled and apologetic. I'm very sorry.
With that said, I'd like to ask anyone that sees this to say a prayer for my 6 year old nephew Walker and his family. He's in ICU at Children's awaiting surgery. He has had occasional headaches recently and his eyes started to cross yesterday. They went in today for some test and the doctors found a golf ball size mass at the base of his brain, on the stem. As long as they get some more of the test results back that they need he'll have the surgery tomorrow.

Update

Walker is out of surgery now. He was in for about 5 hours today. The surgeon said he got 99% of it out and that it went well. He said he anticipates him needing chemotherapy once the test results come back. I'm not sure why they did this but they woke him up right after the surgery. I assume it was so they could make him wiggle his fingers and toes & maybe to check his eyes. They will do another MRI tomorrow to verify that they got everything out that they could. After that we have to wait about 5 days for the test results. Then they will proceed with further treatment if needed.Thanks to each and every one of you who have posted in or viewed this thread.Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. I promise you the family & friends appreciate it more than you know. As for me, I don't know anything more to say except thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Walker and his family in their time of need. I'm proud to be a part of this board.
