Prayer request....my wife's 4 year battle with BC has come

    Prayer sent, I prayed for strenght, comfort and grace for your whole family but I prayed the most that you and your family truly know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior! God bless you all!

    to a critical point....today we learned and was told she has weeks to months. Pray for strength for all but most of all her daughter who attends Alabama....she will not tell her until this weekend. Guys and girls....thank you for all the humor and insight you have brought us the last few years....I know some of my posts are crazy and often don't make sense...but you all have helped a dark situation lighter, you have helped more than you will ever know and you will continue to help. This has been a wonderful outlet...not only for me but for her too. Thank you for answering all the previous prayer requests.....she has fought a long hard battle...as the Oncologist told us today..."she has a terminal illness that she has outlived".....she is a fighter and will continue to fight but the fight just got a little bit tougher. She was given the option of throwing in the towel or moving on with another treatment....she opted for the latter. if the treatment doesn't work it will be weeks, if it does it will be months. Thank you all and please not only pray for her and her daughter.....pray for a cure for this terrible disease.....

    That puts things in perspective for me.. my thoughts and prayers are with your family

    Sir your story is the reason I chose the career of disease research to help the people surpass that which has hindered our race for centuries. Tell your wife that I wear a breast cancer bracelet daily as I work toward my final degree to start research. Tell her its not us who has brightened your day but her and you who have brightened ours and brought us delight to celebrate life and what we believe in. I too have and still do search for refuge here because of various things getting cheated and played on like auburns defense and this is recently like tonight. But please don't mourn celebrate the life which she has lived and created in your family because i promise she has touched people she has left a legacy behind. She has been in more pain than anyone has physically I was lucky when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor tht it was benign. You will be in my prayers

  • It's hard to believe at times, but the Almighty is always in control. He gives believers spiritual gifts and opportunities to use them in this life for His purposes. When our missions are accomplished here and our gifts are needed in Heaven, He brings us home. In the meantime, the Holy Spirit is always available to provide peace & comfort whenever He is asked to appear. He knows our fears, and yet, also knows the thoughts of God.
    I pray that you and your wife and daughter ask Him to be with you and carry you all through this very difficult time. Please read Psalm 91 together, aloud. Peace be with you all.

  • My prayers and best wishes go out to you and your daughter. You would think that in this modern day of technology and science, a cure would have been found for cancer. Maybe with people like Chris Spielman and the Stand Up To Cancer Foundation, like the television show they put on this past weekend, which featured SO Many stars and entertainers, enough people will get the inspiration to try and help in this fight that maybe someday a cure WILL be found.

  • Praying for you and your whole family. Your wife sounds like a fighter like my beloved aunt, who was first diagnosed with BC in her 40s in 1989, and finally succumbed to it in 2008. The cancer returned several times over the course of her life. The last time, she was only given months to live and she lived for five years. It's so hard to live with uncertainty but you and your wife clearly have the right attitude of gratitude and determination. May you feel God's presence each step of the way.
