Prayers - my soldier nephew

I've never done this before, but there is a first time for everything, so here goes. My brave nephew is a soldier in Afghanistan. This morning we received the news that he stepped on an IED and was severely injured. He has lost a portion of both legs. Family is on pins and needles until his mother and wife are able to go be with him somewhere and find out how he is. Please send your prayers and thoughts to him. Special kid, played baseball in college, great spirit and sense of humor, loves his country, his wife, his family, and life.

Service members in general and soldiers in particular are always in my thoughts and prayers, and your nephew will get special mention. Absolutely, some of the best and most skilled ,medical personnel in the world, will be taking care of your soldier.

I went to school at Glencoe with him a few years back. The whole town is sending up prayers. God bless him!
