It is hard to believe that he could "fall through the cracks" at a major high school
in TX. But there are two things to consider about any QB at Alabama.

1)You can almost bank on a redshirt/learning year.

2)CNS's offense does not require a cannon-armed thrower with perfect mechanics.
Our system is one where the QB is rarely throwing into tight spaces. Most are short
or intermediate routes with single coverage.

There is no reason for concern here, IMO. Bama has won NCs with Pat Trammel,
Steadman Shealy, Jay Barker and Greg McElroy. None of them would ever be confused
with John Elway but they won anyway. As good as Saban's defenses usually are, it only
takes 10-15 points in most games. If Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer can win Super Bowls
behind great defenses, I doubt Alec Morris will be any different.
