I like the news from Reggie. His skills as an internal recruiter rival BJ Scott's, and I see this guy as a major leader on the team for years to come. Great article --

Can't believe no one has mentioned him talking about playing TE. I wonder if that depends on if we land Devall or not? What a TE class that would be with Freitag and Ragland. Wow.
We sure have enough LBs to allow us to do that.

Never even thought about Tight End being a possibility with Ragland, but we've seen in the past basketball players, with their elite athleticism, really be dominant at that position. Still probably a LB...but an interesting nugget nonetheless.

I saw RR play against Sparkman this year and he was awesome to watch at LB. I can't imagine him not playing LB, just as I can't imagine Eddie Williams not playing safety. But who knows as we surely need more depth on offense also.

I have ran this idea through my head over and over and love it. As much as we use a TE wouldn't it make sense to take someone with elite athleticism and move them to that side of the ball? With his skill set and size he's a perfect hybrid of devastating inline blocker and mismatches receiver. With a guy like that we could run more 3 wide and disguise our intentions as he could go out or stay in. I love the idea but I'm not sure it'll happen. I know he'll be a monster on defesne too.

Had to gameplan against Reggie this year. The kid would be a legit threat at TE. My opinion I think he would be a better TE.

This has been my exact thought as well. We have great blocking TE's (McCall, Williams, Etc.) and have had good receiving TEs (Smelly, Walker, Etc) but haven't had that combo. This guy could be it.
I think he could be a great LB but that is one position we could afford to move a playmaker from.

very telling, imo. auburn must be a total mess right now. never thought yeldon would switch, but now i'm not sure.

Just got a text from a coach at Fairhope that said T.J. was quoted today as saying that his official visit to Bama didn't do anything to change his mind or commitment to Auburn. I hope he is throwing a smoke screen. If not that stinks!

That was what AUundercover reported as well. Saying he's still firm despite visit.

RR will play TE at UA, not LB. I've watched him every day in practice and every game for the past 3 seasons. His future is at TE, not LB.
