I had this random thought today about the 2012 team. I have really felt that Mark Barron will be the most difficult player for UA to replace in the upcoming season. Then tonight I was watching some recruiting videos and realized that we STILL have two more 5 star players (LC and EW) coming in and LC is more than capable of giving the defense SOLID depth, if not more! With all the excitement of the guys that were early enrollees, I forgot all about the guys still to come.
It is CRAZY how much talent 'Bama has right now (on campus and coming in)! I know I am looking through my Crimson colored glasses, but I believe that the 2012 team will be significantly more talented than the 2010 team (since those two teams are being compared so much).
One other random thought. Has anyone actually seem a highlight film of Eddie Williams at WR? I have seen film of him at S but not on offense.

I don't think the level of talent is why people have questions about the 12' team. Everyone knows we are ridiculously loaded. It the leadership aspect that is unknown. Saban himself said we had a great team in 10' but we were lacking in leadership. Yes talent wise MB can be replaced and (hard to imagine) upgraded. But from a knowlege and leadership standpoint no way a kid that was playing highshool football just a few months ago can replace that. So IMO its not the replacement of talent, it's the replacement of knowledge,experience, and leadership. Not to be a debby downer, just lookin at it from another angle.
