As seen in this revealing photo, the Twin Towers' destruction exhibited all of the characteristics of destruction by explosives:

1. Destruction proceeds through the path of greatest resistance at nearly free-fall acceleration
2. Improbable symmetry of debris distribution
3. Extremely rapid onset of destruction
4. Over 100 first responders reported explosions and flashes
5. Multi-ton steel sections ejected laterally
6. Mid-air pulverization of 90,000 tons of concrete & metal decking
7. Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic-like clouds
8. 1200-foot-diameter debris field: no "pancaked" floors found
9. Isolated explosive ejections 20–40 stories below demolition front
10. Total building destruction: dismemberment of steel frame
11. Several tons of molten metal found under all 3 high-rises
12. Evidence of thermite incendiaries found by FEMA in steel samples
13. Evidence of explosives found in dust samples

And exhibited none of the characteristics of destruction by fire:

1. Slow onset with large visible deformations
2. Asymmetrical collapse which follows the path of least resistance (laws of conservation of momentum would cause a falling, intact, from the point of plane impact, to the side most damaged by the fires)
3. Evidence of fire temperatures capable of softening steel
4. High-rise buildings with much larger, hotter, and longer-lasting fires have never collapsed.

Even though my own investigation has been extremely cursory, I learned better than to believe that backward Muslims living in caves managed to come into the country and train to fly jumbo jets without raising the slightest eyebrow from the FBI and the like and hijack them while NORAD stood down and crash them like stunt pilots into buildings that were made specifically to withstand impact from slightly smaller planes and that the fires from the jet fuel caused the buildings to collapse at nearly freefall (acceleration due to gravity ) speed.

When you add to that nanothermite (extremely small particles of military grade explosive) were found in the debris and the fact that WTC building 7 collapsed without being hit by a plane the evidence just screams that the official story about 9/11 is a lie.

jayman1974 the same holds true for entertainers.

Do you really believe this, or are you just stirring the pot?

If you do, please answer my questions:
1. If they didn't fly the planes into the buildings, you did?
2. If our government did it, why?
3. Why would they blow up the buildings after being hit by the planes?

A tiny, tiny downside, if it's one at all.

RM makes some stupid comments, but also he does raise some good points... which are unfortunately lost completely because people hone in on the most outrageous statements.

I assume there are a lot of Christians on this board: who among you can argue with these statements:

"I believe in God. I believe we're ALL his children. And I believe HE is the ONE and ONLY judge."

"Those who judge others, will also be judged themselves."

"For those of you who said you want to see Bin Laden burn ... I ask how would God feel about your heart?"

I have to admit, I'm a bit turned off by the people dancing in the streets celebrating the death of bin Laden... just as I was when I saw people dancing in the streets in Muslim countires after 9/11. I feel a sense of closure; that justice has been done, but I take no "joy" in bin Laden's death. The fact is we lost a lot of Americans on 9/11, and have subsequently spent trillions, lost thousands more servicemen, and have killed tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis and Afghanis that will help to perpetuate this cycle of violence... the whole goddamn thing is a tragedy; a complete mess. So I just don't get someone who has joy in their heart about any element of this.

I am right with him (see my previous paragraph) on people who celebrate death. As for the second part, we Americans have shown a complete inability to empathize with the rest of the world. We take zero responsibility for how our foreign policy and meddling in the Middle East affects the populations of those countries, and leads to their hatred of us. We see 9/11 as a horrific act, and it most certainly was. But we see the deaths of innocent Afghanis as a sad necessity of a greater good... but we never stop to think about how the Afghanis see it. Does it hurt less to lose a loved one to a predator missle strike than to lose them in a plane crashing into a building? We've likely created the Osama bin Laden of the next generation already,and we'll condemn him when he arises, without ever examining WHY he'll choose to become a terrorrist, or what his personal 9/11 moment was.

Mendenhall is looney. But you guys shouldn't miss this opportunity to think a bit on some of his points.
