Tim and Shane would be better to answer this.
But ... if he leaves the door open I would suspect that would continue to recruit him. I don't know if he's leaving the door open. Should not soon.

If you recruit based on getting a better player in the following class then you will be disappointed a lot! You never have that strategy. You get what you need now and then move on to the next class.

I thought it seemed obvious this was a case of playing time. I do not mean this as a slight toward Jenkins either. Some kids will choose with depth a major factor.

It's not a bad decision for him, if that's what he wants. UGA can promise he'll play and live up to it. Even with Upshaw leaving, he'd be at best a special teams contributor for us next year. No way he'd play meaningful snaps at UA before he adds some serious upper body development.
