UA is not as proactive in MS as has long been the case. Recruiting north MS is a strange bird. Lots of special interest groups to contend with outside of the program. Mike Groh is in-charge of Conner's recruiting, who is very likely the best MS prospect since Dwayne Rudd. Groh is not playing the games in MS and I would be surprised if Conner gets much attention from the Tide unless some things change. Not a real good relationship between Groh and South Panola HC.

In regards to Montravius Adams, where he is from it will be tough to sign him. South Goergia has not been kind to UA. Ditto any kid from Shady South Panola.

Yup. His hometown is basically a little over 2 hours south of Atlanta & a little over 2 hours north of Bainbridge.
Half hour east of Americus & closer to 45 minutes south of Warner Robbins, IIRC. It'll be interesting to me to see if UGA goes balls to the wall for Adams, in hopes of making him feel like he's their most coveted prospect in country. You simply can't afford to have a crop of in-state talent that includes 3 of the top 10 players in the country & miss out on all 3 of them.

Anything south of Warner Robins is considered South Georgia...I'm from Albany, and was probably one of the last signings coming out of that area, and that was back in 2000. It had more to do with the proximity of so many schools being so close. Tallahassee is only an hour and 15 mins away, Gainesville is only about 3 hrs away, Auburn is a little over 2 hrs away, GA Tech is 2 and a half hours away, Athens is a little over 3 and a half hours away, etc. Tuscaloosa is about the same distance as Clemson, which are about 4 and a half hours away,
