when we beat them 36-0, allowing them to cross midfield twice, did we render *uburn obsolete? no, it caused them to cheat even more brazenly than their own standards, which led to where we are now.

i'm not one of the "*uburn is going down soon" crowd, because i don't know if they are. don't pretend to. in fact, i believe this is the first time i've ever posted on the subject. but i know they cheat. so does everyone else. and this argument that beating them on the field is all that matters, instead of saying, "wait a second, shouldn't we be allowed to play on a level playing field," is silly. they are completely unrelated.

Hey Dis, Let me play devils advocate for 1 minute just for the fun of discussing all things Bama.

Despite whether the barn cheated or not to get a few players, they are still not getting more star recruits than Bama. Saban is a recruting machine and no one has recrutied better over the last 4-5 yrs than Bama. So, my point is that the barn is probably cheating to get players, but these are still college players that are, let's say, as talented as Bama players. These barn players are not disguised NFL players. So, if so, why are we having so many problems beating them with more regularity if they are cheating just to match our talent? Even in 2009, we had to score late to win vs. a 5-loss barn team.

Again, no flame just an offseason topic for discussion.

Why not kick their asses on the field while watching them languish in probation Hell?
