According to a report, University of Alabama junior safety Robert Lester has told coaches that he’s decided to stay for his senior season:

This is good news. I believe Lester was leaning toward the NFL just a few weeks ago. Smart move on his part I think. Another years experience won't hurt him.

Signicant to say the least. At least now Milliner won't be the only guy without a ton of experience back there, and I think this helps Lester a lot going forward, as well. He'll be the guy making all the secondary calls instead of Barron, and frankly I don't see how that couldn't help when he does his interviews with the NFL next year.

When it comes to DB's, fans have the hardest time evaluating them He will be a top 15 pick in the draft. His size, speed, and wingspan makes him that. DB's are gonna get burnt at times, and it stays ingrained on fans mind. Kareem Jackson is another 1st rounder that a few on this board said would not even get drafted.

I understand where you are coming from because he has gotten burned a few times this year. However, he has all the skills needed plus his height is a huge plus at CB. Does he have things to work on? Of course, but you don't turn down top 10 money to come back to college to work on things. Julio went 6th last year (and I believe I've seen Dre slotted there) and signed a $16 million contract. You just don't turn that down. Dre doesn't need to come back.

LOL. If he's already going in the top 10, then no it won't.
That'd be like sitting out a year, when it comes to earning power, over the course of his career. He's already shutting down physical receivers who will be considered 1st round draft picks whenever they come out, as well.

Don't think this is getting the attention it deserves. Huge for next year's defense. I would take this over a Jordan Jenkins commitment in an instant, just to put it in recruiting terms.
