I think I remember speculation this was due specifically to Cam or other potential violations. Does anyone else remember this?

It appears the change made to Cheesedick's contract is related to suspension of his pay while an investigation is in progress. The Barn had the right to suspend pay in his initial contract but Cheesedick had it removed in his re-negotiated contract.
You can see the change that was made in section 13(d).
It appears the Barn can still terminate his contract without pay if it's determined rules were broken.
