  • From what i am reading it seems UF may be leading. My only take though is that if you were an OC and looked at what Bama is getting this class as well as what we are bringing back i think you would be crazy not to jump at the offer. I guess it depends if you want to be a tireless recruiter and worker. I can't imagine that he works as hard at Boise as he would have to here at Bama. I dont think our coach's get enough respect for all that they do day in and day out.

  • It's transition vs. stability here. Stability should be a no brainer. But coaching at a place like UF still carries a lot of weight.

All about what is important to him (IF its truly a UF - Bama decision) Who knows, those reports may be way over stretched right now???

We know he was at Boise - which means he has to like that underdog against the big boys role. LOL funny I'm saying this again but UF is that more so than us at this point and time. Maybe building something means more to him than continuing to build on something? Who knows really but there are many reasons you could choose one over the other...depending on who you are and what you want from your next gig. ? IF its a 2 team race of course?

Youd think he was tired over getting all so close but yet still so far from a NC trophy. If I was him id be ready to win, and win now. And I bet Boises staff works pretty dam hard. They do something right.

That would be a great hire...

Balance...Bettter passing concepts., Better QB coaching..Not as good on Run Game. Also not
as good on run game schemeing.. McElwain may have been the best at out flanking and leverageing
and just out and out beating you with the run... Didnt take advantage with pass match ups as well as Pease
    will. Just my Opinion

Yeah I agree. They certainly have done some thing right in the last 3-4 years. However, whats been the one constant other than the head coach of course? Yep, the man leading the on field show. I fully expect Boise to take a big step back in coming years, and everyone will say - see I told you you couldn't play in a big conference. Even though the Big East isn't really big time but still a BCS conference. Nope, it won't be just about that it will be more about Kellen Moore being gone. He is such a huge reason for Boise success the last few years. Every team when they lose an all time (relative to that teams success) QB, takes a step back unless they have the next one ready to go. I don't think Boise struck that kinda gold twice. ?

Sure, would he have been as successful against big time programs? Maybe not as consistent but we can't argue what he did do when he faces big time competition even if it was only once a year. He still did it. That, they will miss more than anything else.

  • There is a good chance that he will be unemployed in three years if he goes to Florida!

I think it will be Groh, as he's much more experienced. But that's just my prediction, and it would be beyond foolish for anyone to question Saban on a staff hire.

  • if he comes here he will have to run Saban's offense. I doubt we give him free reign to do whatever he wants. Is this something he desires and is this something UF can offer? I don't know but it might play a factor.

  • Gotta believe he picks BAMA in the end, unless he has ties to UF or its coaches... Either way, I think he could be a big hire for us....

  • He has ties to Saban too I believe from CNS's NFL days
