In the Saban era, there have only been a few instances where Bama didn't show up ready! Saban is in game mode (reiterating Lucky's point) and the players are focused. Talked to a starting player's Dad and this game will be a battle, but 15 is coming home. Experience will be a huge factor and Notre Dame is more like our 2008 team.... Great team, but NOT on our level! Or Championship level.... Roll Tide!

God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
The thing that bothers me is that we haven't played mistake free in our tougher games. I understand that mistakes happen, but that to me is the wild card in this game. If we don't turn it over, I don't think the game will ever be in doubt, though it could be close. If we make a few mistakes, we could be in trouble. We have to put together that one complete game.
Exactly my thoughts we have not played a mistake free game this year against a real quality opponent ( LSU, A&M, Georgia). At the end of the day and as another poster said a couple days ago we might not have a dominant/mistake free kind of game in us this year. People forget we are a young team and as we all know youngsters tend to make mistakes, but in the end all that matters is hoisting that crystal ball Monday night. It doesn't matter if we win by 3 or 30 a wins a win and this team has done that regularly this year and i expect nothing less Monday night. I do like the comparison of our 08 team to this years Irish team. Very similar in that they had a few close games and it is early in Brian kelly's tenure just like it was early in coach Saban's tenure in 08.
