I teach kids in this age group...they are very impressionable. Unless they're mature (most aren't), they lack judgement and impulse control. They're being pulled in every direction, so mistakes will be made. Coach forgave Brent Calloway, and he ditched us on national tv...as I remember it, Troop handed Reuben the typed statement to read when he walked in the building and Reuben was pressured into reading it. Let's just let Coach Saban handle this and support whatever decision he makes...
