He's already my favorite recruit of this class and maybe my favorite that Saban has ever signed. Dude is special, if he puts it all together he is going to be one of the best we've ever had at LB.

This is what sticks out to me a lot from talking to the kids. They say the pressure - from family, friends, college coaches, high school coaches and fans - is insane. That's why so many kids commit early. Half the time they just want all the calls and pressure to stop.
Really good article, Charles. I am rooting for Foster. He seems like he's really happy with the direction things are going for him.

I am honestly happy he chose BAMA in the end. I think everyone realizes, well except for those fans across the state (g)...his best decision for his future was by far to be in Crimson. No doubt our staff will be able to nurture him and get the absolute best out of him which in turn only helps his future. This kid has it all - everything athletically, physically to be one of the very best. My only question is...How truly bad does he want it? If its real bad - watch out everyone else.

That interview goes a long way toward accomplishing that for me. I was one of those people who didn't bad mouth him, but was kind of over it. I think that we all forget sometimes that these are just kids and we really don't have any comprehension of the pressure that's put on them.
I for one have become a fan of him.

When you realize that even the Pres is watching your decisions.....that's a little bit of pressure. Not to mention the stress of trying to please family, friends, coaches (many of whom are relying on you to help keep their jobs).
Hopefully they are better for the experience.
