Reuben foster thought

  • I wonder if Saban pushes him for a commitment this week and says if you wanna come to Alabama then u commit now and dont take any more visits? i know numbers are tight and I am sure saban is trying to make the numbers work. foster could indeed commit, but the way he goes back and forth i am not sure a commit and still take visits means much.

also.... the ncaa needs to watch au with foster. they are promising him and his family alot of things that are a no no......

  • I can see Coach Saban gauging his interest to see if it is legitimate or not. However, if we are serious about getting him to sign with Alabama then I would say an ultimatum wouldn't help us.

With the undecided guys on the board like Tunsil, Vanderdoes, Kamara, and Bell, I don't see Ruben having a spot after taking Williams. Bigger needs than him. I could certainly be wrong though.

  • He gone.

  • I agree with you on on thing: Reuben Foster is so wishy washy that a commitment from him would have to be considered a high risk gamble right now.

We've got top notch prospects knocking down our door for one of those last 4-5 spots. If RF committed to us and then signed elsewhere on NSD I'd be beyond livid.

He very well may be gone. However, I know that deep down he likes alabama alot. However, the decision isnt his to make. His family will be making the decision for him. Since this is the case, i feel strong that he ends up @ auburn. they are making it very hard for them to say no.

  • My buddy John Clay (92 Alabama championship team) called me last night and wants to trademark (joking) a new recruiting term. He said if Foster recommits to Alabama, its called a "back flip." That's a great term, so just giving John props.

For now on, any recruit that commits to a school, then decommits and commits to a new school, then decommits and recommits to the original school will be called a "back flip" haha

That's pretty good. Lucky, do you have any guesses on how things play out with this class over the next few weeks? Won't hold you to it, just interested in what you think.

So what would Demarcus Robinson's recruitment be called?

Heck no. This thing could go any any direction.

4 spots if there's no decommitments according to Tim Watts. 3 if you already count Liner. There's a lot going on for 3 spots.

  • Coach has been in this situation a hundred times. He will know if Reuben has interest in us without even asking him.

If this were the case, why would CNS and CKS be in Auburn today? In case we lose another recruit?

We still are touching base with Hunter Henry as well. Point being you never close any doors until you have to...
