My buddy John Clay (92 Alabama championship team) called me last night and wants to trademark (joking) a new recruiting term. He said if Foster recommits to Alabama, its called a "back flip." That's a great term, so just giving John props.
For now on, any recruit that commits to a school, then decommits and commits to a new school, then decommits and recommits to the original school will be called a "back flip" haha

I wasn't in school with him, but I love John Clay because he went to my high school. He is from the Nashville area but went to Baylor in Chattanooga.
BTW, to the OP explain something to me that no one has been able to at this point. If what you say is true, that AU is offering a bunch of stuff, then what does it say about Alabama if he were to back flip to us? Would that not mean we offered him more.
This is what I don't get when people talk about so-so recruit has been offered the moon by a rival school and then ends up with UA. The logical conclusion is that UA out bid them. I know I don't believe that to be the case. I also don't believe that if a kid is offered a bunch of money or benefits, he is going to another school out of the kindness of his heart.

Is it just me...why on earth would we take someone as unstable as Reuben Foster as a "sign and place." That's just asking for it, IMHO.

That's a good point, but you never know. Saban went to see the TE in Arkansas earlier this week and no one really thinks we have room for him unless something else falls through.
