Have to be honest....I think he's better than DePriest right now. Difference is knowledge of the playbook.

Trey Depriest is a solid LB, one who I think could see time on an NFL roster when he's done in Tuscaloosa and is certainly someone capable of playing BCSNC level football.

Reggie Ragland has a higher ceiling than Depriest based on what I've seen due to the fact that he seems to be better in space and once he understands the defense instinctively will be someone the offense has to account for on every down. He definitely projects as a 1st to 3rd round guy if he stays plugged in and improves as expected.

All that said, when healthy (based on tape) Reuben Foster is head and shoulders the best LB Alabama has signed since I've been following recruiting. He has the potential to be a Cornelius Bennett / Derrick Thomas level gamechanger with nearly unlimited ceiling. Whether he reaches that potential depends IMO on whether he stays focused and buys into the process.
