Rex Ryan comments about Greg McElroy's comments

The Jets coach is taking his turn at the podium at the Combine, and was asked about Greg McElroy's comments. Said he was "angry" and "didn't agree" with everything the quarterback said.

If I had to guess there are 3 teams that would be interested in him should the jets release him. Ravens, Cowboys (duh), and packers (if they trade matt Flynn )

The problem with what Greg did is that it (a) shed light on the dysfunction that Rex Ryan has allowed up there while (2) allowing Ryan and everyone else to focus on Greg's lack of standing to raise the issue.
Soooo ... Greg's pissed off his boss, and that might end up costing him his job and possibly even opportunities at other jobs.
There's always broadcasting, I guess. He'd be excellent at that.

Thing is if Greg hadn't played QB for Alabama nobody would know he ever said anything, except for the people listening to the local radio station that day.

I think Rex first priority would to shut his own mouth and worry about the horrible coaching job he has done. I haven't really liked Rex, cause he has talked a lot of smack and yet to back any of it up, and he is one of the main reason for the Jets being in the position they are in now. Then when a backup qb lets the cat out the bag he gets his feelings hurt instead of manning up like a coach should.
