The Huskers were the beneficiaries of a short time frame and assistant Terry Joseph’s previously established relationship with Rose. That helped the Rose family make the decision, even without visiting Lincoln.
Jonathan Rose plans to join Nebraska as early as the weekend, but may not be able to get to campus until early next week. According to Charles Rose, the Huskers approached Jonathan Rose shortly after the defensive back left Auburn. Nebraska’s staff, led by Joseph, broke down the Husker depth chart and why they felt NU could be a strong fit for the defensive back.

I hope he does well, but it'll be interesting to see how he adjusts to the culture at Nebraska & in the town of Lincoln.

I think this was the guy that was just bluntly honest about picking barn over Bama because we had so much depth and talent at DB, and Auburn's cupboard was completely bare.
