There have been alot of comparisons made involving Mr. Foster. I hope he is so good that he sets a new standard for us to compare too. Anyway I like the comparison in another thread that compared him to biscuit. I guess we shall see but see alot of potential.

Agreed. RH is a much better comparison, physically, to Blackmon IMHEO.

Foster is unlike any lb we have had,,,he will be a player

He needs to improve his play significantly from last season.

Looks like an easy choice to play in base. But does he have the speed/athleticism to play in passing situations?

In shape, he has 4.55-4.59 speed. Needs to work on his hips, agility, flexibility, change of direction.

Dont see that at all. Reuben maybe more like Ray Lewis.

Body type-Ernie Sims-London Fletcher now.... Towards the end of his career he will probably look just like gary Brackett(his genetics will dictate this)/ However, his physical tools exceed each of those guys and thats saying a lot.
His playing style is that of an instinctual, knifing linebacker who is elite between the tackles. He times blitzes well and when he reads the play his burst to the point is impressive. he can play sideline to sideline but will get lost in space at times(see the Auburn hs game). He is the type of linebacker who will always be moving forward but needs to learn how to cover for our d.

I hate to say this but I just do not see him ever being our playcaller or vocal leader on d, which is fine. He will make a ton of highlight plays but also be out of position a good bit as well. Thats normal with this type of player.

As crazy as this sounds, Foster has the ability to be one of the greatest ilb of all time. his mental capacity and his ability to be coached will dictate his career path. Assuming he stays out of trouble I would put his floor at Ernie Sims and ceiling around .....well any of the greats.

Just thought about reuben kind of being built like a Zac Thomas or dat Ngueyn as well.
