Most of us rode the Rebels (or whatever they're calling themselves) to an easy win in week 2, but 21 brave souls went out on a limb with Mississippi State and - true to form - the bulldogs disappointed. There was also a bold UGA pick that deserved better (sorry greygoose, maybe at least you can better appreciate what it means to not be coached by Mark Richt). 1 or 2 people went with UA, limiting their options moving forward. A few people never got picks in, so they went down as well, leaving us with 65.
If you miss a week or even if you lose, you're welcome to continue posting picks and I'm happy to keep up with how you're doing. Just know you won't be eligible for the win.
This week, there are no freebies. We've got Ole Miss @ Vandy, UT @ UF, and LSU @ MSU. Note that AU is not eligible since Clemson isn't ranked, and beware the road favorites.
Remember the rules: (1) you can only pick each team once, (2) you team must play another SEC team or a ranked opponent (unless you pick Vandy or Ole Miss), and (3) your pick must be in by kickoff or by Saturday at 9:00 a.m whichever comes first).
Still in the contest:

SEC Football Sports printable, composite 2011 SEC football schedule grid of all SEC Football teams for the 2011 SEC Football season.
Sticking to my preseason list--- Florida for me this week
Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.
im going LSU
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
Tough pick for me this week. LSU or Florida.....LSU on the road at MSU and Florida at home vs ut. LSU looked impressive vs oregon but played a nobody this week. MSU beat a lowly, crappy memphis team in week one (in week two memphis got blown out by arkansas st.), and then proceded to implode at auburn. ut's offense has looked impressive vs some subpar competition and Florida's defense has looked equally impressive against subpar competition. Somethings gotta give. I will take the Gators at home instead of LSU on the road at msu because you never know with an SEC road game.
I need a rules reminder: There are 13 weeks in the season and only 12 teams. Do we get to take a week off? If so, when?
No week off - if multiple people make it to week 13 (big if), you'll be allowed to pick any SEC team and they'll be ordered by point spread, where you get more points for picking a bigger underdog, and the person who is undefeated and correctly picks the biggest underdog / smallest favorite will win the contest...if that doesn't settle it, we'll use something like Iron Bowl score or something similar
We can either do this or just have a 12 week contest. I don't like the idea of a week off since it eliminates much of the strategy.
How is this going to work when there is 12 teams and 13 weeks in the season?
UF over UT
guess im out, but i take Florida. Roll Tide Roll!
I picked Ole Miss last week btw, I just went back and checked when I saw my name on the out list. Did not pick MSU.
Give me the Gators for this week.
