SIAP: Mark Barron?

Got an update on my phone from one of my sports apps saying he'd tweaked something during workouts and could be out for a few months for rehab and how it may hurt his draft stock. I hadn't seen anything concrete on here or the big news outlets but it did show up a couple times on a Google News search. Have I been rumor'd or has anyone heard anything?

I'll wait til it's official. I seem to remember people saying that people start rumors like this so prospects will fall in the draft to suit their own purposes. Not saying that he isn't injured, but you never know.

Seems like in the past there have been rumors like this come out that get started by teams hoping players may fall to them in the draft. Still waiting for something official though.

Even if true, it's not going to drop him a full round in the draft. It's a sports hernia, he can easily recover from that and be 100%. It's not a knee injury or anything. He was a three year starter that played in basically every game and was plently durable so there is tons of film on him. Everybody knows his measurables are excellent and he has been one of the best players in college football for three years.
If he tore something in his knee then sure but if you think a sports hernia is going to push him down 30 - 50 picks you are smoking crack.
