Many of you may have already seen this, but I thought in honor of the incredible class Bama signed today, it would be great to look back at the 2008 classes, where they were ranked and where they should be ranked. Enjoy.

Hadn't seen that. Out of up votes, but thx for the link. As high as that class was rated, we had so many underrated guys in that class.

With all due respect... just shows you how off they were in 2008. They are getting better, but they definitely march to a beat of a different drum in the recruiting space.
Bama #3 in 2008 ... seriously?

ESPN recruiting is a joke. They need to leave it up to the other services.

Bama #3 in 2008 ... seriously?

I still can't get past Luginbill claiming that AU was in it for Julio that year... believe he was the only recruiting guy to share that tidbit.

ESPN recruiting is lot like Texas football. Unbelievable they can't produce a better product with the resources at their disposal. They get by just because of their huge footprint, but they don't have the hunger to be elite.
