I can agree with that. I love that there are some Raiders fans here on BOL.

When I moved to the bay area a decade or so ago, both NFL teams were pretty bad, but at least the Raiders had that mystique of Al Davis and the Silver & Black about them. And Raiders fans reminded me a lot of Bama fans during the down years, always sticking with the team no matter how bad it got. Tons of Raider pride. The Niners? Didn't see any of that gear being worn until this past season. By people who had just gotten rid of all their Giants world series gear, I imagine.

Man that horrendous run we had as BAMA fans hurt even more for us that share similar feelings the Raiders. Football season hurt, I mean really hurt. Raiders fans are some of the best in the country. Crazy, but great fans.

Looks like the Skins did something similar while he was the DC there as well. Hope nothing happens to my team for this. It doesnt sound as bad as the Saints and if the Skins did something this bad this would have been reported a long time ago.

This stuff goes on all the time. Why is it being made out to rival the apocalypse? I don't get it. Players have said this for years.

With all of the new rules that have been passed down to protect players it is a much bigger deal now then it would have been maybe even as few as 5 years ago. What is boils down to is the league is trying to protect players and the Saints are being accused of trying to injure them. The media sees the story in that and probably won't let it die.
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
