I was told it makes the ball easier to throw & catch. Every job Kiffin has had there have been rumors of staff fights & all kinds of little to big disfunctions. Im a Raider fan and it was the same with him at the Raiders &I lives close to Knoxville & it was the same & I don't keep up with USC in any way but we are know hearing about all the crap he does because people are not happy with the team.

That is what I was thinking it would make it easier to catch cause you are able to get a better grip on the ball because it will compress in.
