I'm going to take a guess. Since the letter D is in black and ONE is white. I'm thinking it's a play on job Done we are # 1. Again this is my interpretation of it.

I believe it is a Nike advertising campaign. "How will you #Makeitcount in 2012? I think this is the beginning of it. Couple of vid's on their site linked. Go to the football section if link doesn't lead you to the videos.

Jmo but I think it's a spin off the fact that all year both of these teams have been known for their stellar defense, not their offense. The end result in Nikes strategy for the BCSNC Game is this...regardless of who the winner is, the best defense won the game.

I thought that too when I saw it but I will not wear the hat until the ads explain it to everyone...last thing I want is to have to explain this.

Nike has an ad campaign stating.. "Just Do It.." Past tense would be "DONE"
Thats my opinion. And I also thought about the defense.. D-ONE (#1 Defense?)

Ok so check this out to go along with my last post.
If you are looking at the hat straight on, the Alabama logo is on the left, the DONE is in the middle and the bcs championship logo is on the right. Reading that left to right, Alabama's defense won the championship. Had LSU won it would've meant the same thing for them. Again, jmo.
