I read it, I filtered it and I agree that 2 QB's is a must. I do not agree that you can use "subpar" and a "QB that will do nothing but manage" to describe Morris at this time. First of all, he just checked into the program this week and won't be 18 until late July. Secondly, I seriously doubt CNS and staff recruit to be average. Your backhanded compliments are unwarranted at this time and if you throw star rating and Wake Forest back at me, then you don't know anything about Morris. Let's talk about him after word gets out on his practice performance or when he plays clean-up against Michigan in September.
I'm not mad or looking for a word war here, I just think we should reserve judgement until there is something to judge.

I have to agree with you. I went to overboard with Ely and especially with Morris. I am a Saints fan and Drew Bree's is maybe 6' if that, and he is top 3 in NFL. And could the Saints please sign him already. It is true. The only REAL STARS that matter are the ones CNS produces. I can't wait to see Ely get some game experience. I really had that sort of " the kid can throw accurately" sort of feal. And I am actually looking forward to seeing Morris. His video is great and played in the same high school circuit as McElroy. His measurables are great with a good arm. I have that feeling he can actually turn some heads once given the chance. I like when Saban and company find kids like these who nobody else even cares to look at. Love me some underdogs. YES. I tend to be heavily worded. I could go on for days about this team. Cooper looks REALY good. Good talking to u. RTR and I will be posting some good questions on occasion.

No, no it doesn't. It speaks to preparedness. What if: Bateman changes his mind Bateman signs and gets homesick Anyone of the QB's gets injured, quits, transfers or who knows what? There are many variables to consider that may affect the life of an elite teenage athlete, away from home, over the course of 4-5 years. Ask Mack Brown if he would have done different in 2009 NC game than a true freshman. We are in that possible hole now that PS is gone but 3-4 years from now we won't with 2 in this class, and no one leaves us. CNS is way ahead of your thinking.
