Sophomore guard Rodney Cooper came off the bench to total 17 points and eight rebounds as the Alabama men’s basketball team beat Lamar 75-47 Tuesday night at Coleman Coliseum:

Great stuff bro.. keep bringin it abt our bball team!
Good win, even though Lamar is a very young & not a very good team presently. We need all guys available for Sat, at Cincy, the best non-conference team we play. TRelly should be good to go, hopefully ASteele will be available as well. Need our two most experienced players for a tough road game. Good to see Coop back playing tonight! RTR!!!
on to cincy

What can someone tell me about Dakota Slaughter. Height? Weight? Where is he from? I assume he is a walk-on as I do not recall anything about his recruiting.
Thanks for any info.
Hey, this is his bio from another site. (Mods, I apologize if I violated any rules about posting this....I'm actually not familiar with how everything works with posting this from another site) 2011-12 (Freshman)
Was a member of the Tide's practice squad and scout team, before being added to the roster for the second half of the season ... redshirted the year.
Was a three-year starter in basketball at Fishers HS ... was also a standout on the football team ... was an all-conference selection in basketball and football ... named to the 2011 Indiana Class 5A Basketball All-Star team ... was a National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete ... as a senior helped the football team to a 14-1 finish and a 5A state championship in 2010.
Born Feb. 2, 1993 to Chris and Karen Slaughter ... had a high school GPA of 4.0 and was the Class President his junior and senior years of high school.
Quite frankly Slaughter's background is better than many of our scholarship players'. How did he not get a scholarship offer? Was their concern as to which sport he would end up playing between football and basketball?
Alabama had a season-high 12 blocked shots, created 20 turnovers and made five steals despite using walk-on forwards Keon Blackledge and Dakota Slaughter in the first half
