imo, Blake moves to QB full time & duels Ely and Alec for the #2 spot over the summer.

priority on QB for the 2013 class just went up.

Why 2013? Do you plan on starting a true freshman? According to you then, we will have three QB's ahead of them. 2013 will be no bigger than any other year. We get one this year and hope to hand him the keys as a rFR. Or you hand them to a guy already on campus. Zero chance we start a TF

Seriously though, all the best to the young man... hoping he has a bright future and finds a place where he's happy and can utilize his talents.

I was afraid this would happen when Sims basically wasn't seen again after the Kent game. If he goes to a small school and starts for a year, he can then get 2 years as a starter elsewhere, and we looking at 2 more seasons of bench riding here behind AJ, so it makes sense for him. The good news for us is that our OL was just excellent at pass blocking last year, and AJ didn't take many hits. Hard to imagine that will change in 2012.

I still think he should've waited a year to see what happened, but I hope things work out for him at his next stop.

How long Lucky?....I wish PS the best......does he really have family issues or does he want to play? (can't blame him for wanting more playing time)....Regardless I wish him and his family the best and I hope he lands on a good team if he stays with football.

This kid is a class act and I'm proud he was a part of the Tide Nation and has a ring to show for it!

How far was the gap between philip and ely during practice? I know on high school ratings it was significant but during a-day ely was functional and sims was hurt.
