I think the tie breaker is pretty clear. How all of this stuff works and fits into the tie breaker is as clear as mud and too subjective. Play off anyone?

I don't think it's impossible but probably a stretch. I'm pulling for Ole Miss because that would be a conversation changer IMO. I'm still thinking through the consequences of LSU losing to Georgia if we don't go. I just wonder if the voters would exclude a 1 loss SEC team because they were not conference champs. After winning 5 straight I would think the SEC should get a shot. I hope I am wrong about Arky because I have been calling that game to my buddies all season.

I needs no clarification. If you read it it is clear. Hell we have 10 people each week asking what station Bama is on. I guess we need to improve the schedule announcements because people can't read or use google.

What is so tough about the rule:

In a 3 way tie the team with the highest BCS ranking goes, unless the top 2 are within 5 spots of each other in the BCS. If that is the case then you eliminate the lowest ranked team and determine who advances between the top 2 by looking at the head to head meeting.

Seriously how is that not clear?

if the BCS had Bama#2, Arky #3, Lsu #4. we go. it doesnt matter how many spots lsu is from us if they are they 3rd in the rankings. the 3rd ranked team out of the west is automatically dropped from consideration. it reverts back to the top 2 ranked teams, and then its based on head to head competition.

if arky loses to Lsu, then obviously LSu goes. if arky wins and jumps us, and lsu falls below us, then we go. thats about as simple as i see it.
