To yourself and cwaters.
A-ok with me. You don't have to agree, but Nick Saban thinks otherwise per his own words and I side with him. I'm simply giving you examples of what our head coach was talking about when he made reference to it early in the season. Furthermore, countless posters here even went a step further after Saban's tirade and said "Saban is so smart that now instead of the media blowing our players heads up they are all writing about his tirade instead". I seem to remember no one disagreeing with CNS being a genius when those remarks were made over and over at that time here on BOL and in other forums.

I don't know if they would work UGA but I do believe aTm would win by 2 scores. I don't care how athletic the edge guys are for UGA, Manziel would make more than enough plays.
I just don't trust the UGA OL or Murray. I think their effectiveness on offense is yet to be determined. They scored 7 points against USCe and 17 points against UF(despite getting 6 TOs from UF in the game).
Their defense has been good at times and very average at times. Don't confuse aTm with UGA. aTm has 2 future NFL OT and the best player in the SEC at QB. We will get some hits on Murray and he is prone to gutting rattled when that happens.

Yeah. If you were to ask Saban why we lost, I bet you he wouldn't blame the media. The media had 0 effect on our losses.

they may not have any thing against bama .....but, they do have something against the SEC as a CBS product and would love to have the BCSCG without an SEC team so they do not have to promote their competition ( the SEC ) ...remember they are paid on TV RATING......that's the "real battle" for #1.....money & rating ....SEC teams do not help ESPN in the biggest Game of the year in Jan....

Cool and you're welcome to that opinion, but I'll stick with the facts. Not publicly blaming the media and not believing that your players mindset have been effected by the media aka outside influences is two completely different things/subjects. No he wouldn't blame the media publicly (for a loss that is) so that we agree on 100%, but he clearly believes they're capable of influencing his players mindsets which Saban himself acknowledges in the video below and has preached on 24/7 since he's been in the business of coaching. So in conclusion, your opinion is in direct contradiction to what Saban believes to be fact. Sorry.
I'll just leave this right here for ya. Anything else I can help you with today?

I'm amazed at how many discount the win over LSU. They circled that game in January and wanted to pummel us. We get them at their house, they are riding a 22 game home win streak. We played ok, but certainly not our best game from an execution standpoint. We were stymied offensively most of the game, had qb coming out party for their kid, and were missing tackles on top of that. They smelled victory, and though not the point total they wanted, they could say they whipped us. We snatched it from them. We were due a letdown - easy to predict, shouldn't be surprised. We should recover, but we don't need to take the next two games for granted. We need to improve as a team and re-establish our domination over teams playing sound football.

Brad Edwards has us losing to UGA and going to the Outback Bowl. The other ESPN guy has us losing to UGA and playing in the Cotton Bowl. 2 weeks ago these clowns were discussing whether we could beat an NFL team. UGA plays terrible but escapes the Cocktail Party and then destroys a hapless barn team and now they are world beaters. We lose a game so now we obviously aren't that good and UGA will hand it to us.
I know it will work itself out regardless but does anyone else find this comical? I hope our players hear all this. I think we do much better when we have a chip on our shoulders anyway.
Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.

You said the media affected our mindset. You're strongly inferring that the loss had something to do with that. There's no use in backtracking though. Posts are permanent.
