Sportswriter Furman Bisher dies at 93

Bisher, 93, died of a heart attack, a longtime friend and editor told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The article does not mention Bisher's longtime war (which continues to this day at the AJC) against Coach Bryant and the University of Alabama. For the youngsters on the board, a little history of Bisher and the Saturday Evening Post -

it's hard not to feel that way. I feel for the family in losing a loved one. But from a sports perspective he had a huge vendetta against the Tide.

Yeah,grew up reading the AJC,never did like his articles,always seemed to be bias and mean spirited.

Well, Coach Bryant won a lawsuit of $10million against the Saturday Evening Post so you might assume no evidence! It was a ridiculous story written by Bisher who Bobby Dodd and Georgia Tech's mouthpiece (they were jealous of Bryant and hated Wally Butts at UGA).
