I look for one of the incoming Fall group to step up and suprise folks.........could be Eddie Jackson.......thanks, Travis

Robert Lester was a solid player for us over the last few years at safety but Collins will be an instant talent upgrade assuming he starts like many expect. That athleticism will be needed against teams like Texas A&M that require quick twitch athletes that can cover and tackle in space.

Good stuff Travis, interested to see how quickly Jai Miller can/will contribute.

Interesting that Stewart is listed here. I for one hope he does play safety especially after losing E. Williams and missing on Conner. Guy has superstar talent in the secondary.

He has superstar talent anywhere on the field IMO. As good as he is, I'd love to redshirt him if possible with Collins, HCD, Perry and Jarrick Williams ahead of him.

Six foot, 200 pounds are the magic numbers as far as playing size. Most of these guys have the length; will need a little time to get there weight/strength wise. Doesn't mean some won't be asked to help next season, though. Good chance you'll see some guys who've spent the last year or two on offense get a look in the spring -- especially those who have played some D in high school.

I'm intrigued by Miller too and can't wait to see what he does at A Day.

Has Jabriel Washington added any weight? He's listed at 5'11 165 lbs. I remembered thinking he had high upside potential coming out of Tennessee. I know he was from a smaller school but, from what I remember, he played several different positions in HS. Seemed like he could handle the mental aspects of a Saban defense.

Does anyone have a specific update on how he has progressed physically and from a playbook perspective? TIA.
