Yeah, Brandon should have another year.
After reading the "don't be surprised if" section I can't help but wonder if Calloway or the staff gave any consideration to H-back?

Is the H-Back a role that J Fowler could play. Really like to see this guy with the ball in his hands.

Maybe. A guy who impressed me on offense in his clips was Dillon Lee, but looks like he'll start out at OLB (where he also looked very good). That athletic LB class has more than one guy (Ragland, Hayes, Lee) who could play on either side.

He's big enough, but playing him there wouldn't ensure more touches. He'll get more touches if he's the No. 2 RB.

Given Harrison Jones' bloodlines, I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a strong contribution at H-back. I think CNS's utilization of the TE/H back has been one of the most impressive parts of Bama's offfense.

It's funny because to hear national analysts tell it, you'd think Stanford invented the two tights when in actuality it's been a staple of UA's offense since 2007.

I totally agree on DL. He looked really fast and athletic in his offensive film, especially for his size. There was a little bit of talk about him not being overly aggressive on defense as well, so a receiving tight end might not be a bad option for him. Then again, he might just turn out to be a stud LB.
It seems like Tyler Hayes mentioned that the coaches have talked to him about playing hback, so maybe he'll get a look on offense.

Hayes showed well when flexed out in the little bit I saw of him. Needs to get a little bigger, either way.

I agree totally on Dillon Lee at TE. I think he has the mentality of an offensive player but maybe he proves us wrong.
Great piece TR and a fun one to watch play out.
Frietag is one physical dude, not sure he doesn't belong on defense but him on offense could be brutal too.

as much as I would like to see Reggie "Rags" at LB...could be interesting at TE...

i could live with Ragland at TE & Fowler at H-back.
its nice to have a multitude of options.
