Staff : What is AJ's celing next year in the Draft?

  • AJ in New England would be ideal for him.

  • I meant to only compare arm strength. I didn't say accuracy or touch or any of that. Vick has the strongest arm I've ever seen. He's the pinnacle of arm strength so he was my choice.

As for deep ball throws hardly anyone completes a "high" typical percentage of deep balls. A high completion percentage is 70 percent but to be at 45 or 50 deep balls is pretty spectacular. Now Flacco is superb as deep completions and I think he was like 48% and lead the NFL. That's a relative thing that's why I put high in quotation marks. Sorry for the confusion guys!

That's funny you said New England because AJ kinda reminds me of brady coming out of college a little on the thin side, makes good decisions and better with a run game....I think Mallet could get traded this draft cause NE likes to get abunch of draft picks....When he gets drafted has more to do with who needs a QB than his stats will,... sometimes teams will pick a player because of need....The Jags picked the guy out of MIzz and he was not a 1st rd guy and it shows....RTR

The Jags picked Blaine Gabbert from Mizzou with the 10thish pick in the first round. But you are correct it hasn't shown! They could def use an upgrade at QB. Gabbert was suspect coming out anyways coming from a spread system based on quick short timing routes. That usually doesn't translate to a ton of NFL success.

That and he likes getting hit even less than Tom Brady. Gabbert hears footsteps and sees ghosts.

Yep that's what i'am saying The Jags reached for a QB just because they needed a QB...

  • Vick threw the ball 60yds. AJ can throw the ball that far.

I don't think AJ would be a good fit with the Saints, they really don't utilize the running game, they are more of spread to pass team, and I think AJ would do better in a pro style system.

  • I'm always amazed at how much Alabama fans undervalue AJ. IMO easily a 1st round QB.
