Stanford (trivia question)

Espn said Stanford may have four players drafted in the first round. Let's assume that happens, how many teams can say they have accomplished this feat? (4 or more players drafted in the first round)

Exactly, the list is small and it goes to show just how talented that Standord team was to have made that elite list. I'd say the goal of parity in college football Is coming to fruition which makes our domination the last few years that much more impressive.
I also wonder what's the highest # of LSU or AU players to ever be taken in the first round?

Wouldn't the fact that two teams (1.7% of D1A) will have approximately 28% of the first round picks while the remaining 118 teams fill out the first round mean we're seeing the opposite of parity?

Actually I should have separated the two thoughts. The draft numbers are impressive in their own right.
However, the comment about parity was actually in regards to the 2011 season in general. Alabama was the best team in America top to bottom, no question. Even if you take us away, there were several solid football teams last season. I thought it was one of the better years in terms of evenness amongst the top (10 -15) teams in America minus Alabama and LSU.
