WHY are so many schools SO quick to react after a one year "phenom"? As we've seen with Shula in '05, or Chiznik in 2010, it just ain't a good thing to judge a coach on a one year performance...

Fiery, energetic coach with a novel system inherits very experienced, talented team from a bland coach that taught good fundamentals and meets immediate success.
This has quite often been an extremely poor indicator of the new coach's quality. See Skip Holtz, Lane Kiffin (UT and USC), Gene Chizik, Mike Price, Tyrone Willingham.
