Superdome Seating

  • What sections are best? Are any sections bad? I know a lot of people have been. Where have you sat, and how was the view?

  • Essentially it works like this...

100 level seats are all in the bottom bowl. If you get these it works much like BDS in that the sideline seats are pretty far from the field so you want to atleast be 15 to 20 rows up. The endzone 100 level tickets are closer to the field so it's better to be in the first 10 rows there.

You can't go wrong with the 200 and 300 level tickets. They are both in the middle bowl known as the Lodge at the Superdome. 200 level tickets are probably the best because they are closest to the field and offer the best view. 200 and 300 level tickets are what Saints season ticket holders pay the most for.

500 and 600 level tickets are the upper deck. The 500 level tickets can be good but you basically have a birds eye view of the field. Same can be said for the 600 level but at that point you're so high you can't even hear the bands and the players look like ants.

If you can get 200 or 300 level tickets, take em. Otherwise look for 100 level tickets but make sure they are Row 20 or higher.

The seats in the corner endzone in the 100's are terrible if you're sitting under the overhang. You'll end up watching the game on a small tv monitor.

  • I sat in the corner endzone 100's for the sugar bowl and you're right they are not very good seats. See yall in the 600 level on the 9th.

  • Many of the endzone seats after row 15 are obstructed from the Upper Levels (club loge and terrace.)
This effects punts and many passes depending on field position.

this worries me, I will have endzone upper level seats...how can they be worse than Bryant Denny when it holds 30,000 less people?
