Sweet Caroline - Yea or Nay?

I say NAY! It just doesnt feel very much like Alabama Football. What happened to Sweet Home Alabama? I dont remember it being played, and that is a great song for us. Also, I dont remember very many score updates.

WHY? I was watching on TV and did not hear that. WHY? WHY would we play that song? It has nothing to do with Alabama, football or anything related to us and is not a fire you up kind of song. WHY?

You know what I had no idea that song is played in Fenway until this thread. Because I don't give a flying you know what about the Red Sox or what they do in their stadium. Im guessing a very high percentage of the people at a football game in Tuscaloosa, AL don't either.
Doesn't have to be unique, just fun. Which it obviously is since the crowd really gets into it.

The students were singing loud as hell, so that tells me the song is not lost on the younger generation. I thought it was fitting, given the score and relaxed atmosphere, knowing the game is well in hand. Personally, I don't listen to that crap, but I enjoyed it.

Would be better to throw in some good video. Example..."touching you"...show the clip of Bennett drilling the ND QB. Or something more recent.
Instead of "oh oh oh", crowd sings "Roll Tide Roll".

That's it our "D" obviously wasn't inspired?????? haha...seriously our team gets inspired by an enthyusiastic, loud crown and if Sweet Caroline gets half the stadium singing I'd say its a pretty good idea. You guys are killing me, lol.

Ha! Those are actually pretty good suggestions. I'm still amazed at how resistant bama fans are to change. It can't be that bad can it? I mean it has to be better than the wave.
